She believes that teamwork adds significant value to the services offered, specifically in matters of mergers and acquisitions, and she regularly conducts follow-ups of her cases, quickly gaining the trust of her colleagues and clients.

Reliable, rigorous, and inquisitive, Me Richard-Roy gets passionate for matters of administrative investigations into psychological harassment, sexual harassment, incivility and sexual violence. She is in fact accredited by the Quebec Bar to conduct workplace investigations, and as an independent investigator, professionally and without judgment, accompanies many employers and educational facilities.

It is with her great organizational skills that Me Richard-Roy has organized numerous events, including as vice-president for the Université de Sherbrooke Club de droit des affaires et d'investissement, founder of the Law-MBA Dinner-Conference, and coordinator of the Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Law fashion show. From these experiences, she has developed a sense of priorities, the reflex for initiative, and a taste for resourcefulness. Since joining Cain Lamarre, those qualities benefit the firm and she is involved in many in-house committees, especially regarding recruitment. She notably shares joint responsibility for the implementation of the Emploi interrégional de Cain Lamarre Program, a unique program that enables our articling students to explore the realities of different Quebec regions through their experience with our firm. She also organized an investigation simulation activity with university students to raise their awareness regarding the realities of this emerging area of law.

Close to her community, Me Richard-Roy also belongs to many regional sports teams and social initiatives.
