A lawyer for 46 years, Normand Bossé, Q.C., practices primarily in labor and employment law, and criminal law, where he is known for his abilities as a negotiator and counsel. In the field of labor law, he negotiates collective agreements and provides advice and assistance to employers, particularly in the food, manufacturing, industrial, construction, automotive, media, retail, transport sectors, and native affairs. He also represents his clients before the Canada Industrial Relations Board, Québec’s Tribunal administratif du travail, the various types of arbitration boards, and in all administrative and legal proceedings. In criminal law, he acts for corporations and individuals called to appear before the criminal courts following accusations brought under the Criminal Code or statutes.
