Hailing from the Portneuf region, Michael Darveau completed his entire academic training at Université Laval. After first earning a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in business administration (MBA), he completed his LL.B. and was called to the Québec Bar in 2015. His legal practice focuses on the interpretation and application of collective agreements, on occupational health and safety cases, and on grievance arbitration process.

He works with the labor and employment law team in the education sector, and conducts research into legal doctrine, legislation, and case law, contributing to the drafting of various procedures. This field of practice allows him to combine his legal knowledge with his expertise in psychology and business administration.
