Québec City native Louis-Philippe Lacombe earned an LL.B. at Université Laval. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the same university and a certificate in English law from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom. While a student, he was a research assistant in constitutional law at Université Laval and held various positions at the National Assembly of Québec.

Called to the Québec Bar in 2019, he joined the Cain Lamarre team the same year, after having articled there. He practices primarily in labor and employment law.
