Josée Byrns joined Cain Lamarre's team in 2011 while pursuing law studies after many years of experience as a paralegal in the private, municipal and government sectors. Member of the Barreau du Québec between 2014 and 2016. Since April 2016, she is now a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

Involved for several years in various organizations, she is committed to the development of her region’s economic, social and community sectors.

She has a particular interest in the field of securities, entrepreneurship and succession planning. As a notary, she practices primarily in corporate and commercial law, financing and transactional matters. She is accredited for non-contentious proceedings before a notary (homologation of protective mandate, opening of protection regime, testamentary verification and guardianship / tutorship council to minor child).
