Fanny Maheu joined the Cain Lamarre team as a student in 2014. After articling at the Val-d’Or office, she stayed on as a lawyer.

Her practice focuses on municipal law. She assists and represents municipalities, and also provides training courses for elected officials and municipal officers in collaboration with the Fédération québécoise des municipalités and the Association des directeurs municipaux du Québec.

Her practice also includes litigation, civil liability and insurance. In addition to working on major cases, she argues cases before different Quebec courts, tribunals and administrative boards, including the Commission municipale du Québec.

She holds a law degree from Université Laval with a minor in environment and sustainable development and international law.
