Title: lawyer Year of call: 2013

Expertise: immigration law  |  labor and employment law

David assists firm clients with communication and mobility strategies during periods of change, growth, and crisis.
Lawyers within the firm call on David for advisory and global mobility services arising from legal matters. As a result, David has expanded the firm's in-house capacity to respond to a broader range of client needs.
David's extensive experience both within and outside the legal domain led him to broaden the natural nexus between legal matters and issues that touch on a client's reputation and visibility. Stemming from his immigration practice at a major national firm, clients seeking global mobility services often came to rely on his strategic communications advice outside their initial legal needs. David joined Cain Lamarre seeking to grow his practice by continuing his immigration work in conjunction with this additional service range for both the firm's existing client base and new clients.
Me Nachfolger’s professional versatility allows him to bring proven and effective experience as a speechwriter, government relations advisor, and issue advocate to bear for Cain Lamarre clients. His ability to communicate compelling narrative inspires confidence and trust among our clients facing complex matters or those seeking to expand their public profiles as strong corporate citizens.
David's global mobility practice focuses on immigration and emigration matters for multinational companies both in Canada and abroad. This includes supporting all business sectors with complete immigration and visa services, including overall strategic global mobility policy and planning, temporary resident and work permits, permanent resident applications, citizenship issues, inadmissibility challenges, and family sponsorship. In addition, David also assist clients with securing their employees’ right to work in locations outside of Canada by obtaining status abroad.
