Charles Désy holds an LL.B. from Université de Sherbrooke, where he first earned a certificate in psychology. Building on previous legal experience working with a bankruptcy trustee and a law firm, he began his practice as partner with a Sherbrooke firm, where he took over a thriving civil and commercial litigation practice. The experience taught him to employ a wide range of strategies, from effective alternative settlement techniques to litigating before the courts.

With his finely honed legal expertise and experience representing and counselling established businesses, financial institutions, and select individual clients, he has a proven track record of providing expert advice to clients in such diverse fields as real estate law, construction law, collections, mortgage and securities law, estate law, and protective supervision for persons who are incapacitated or at risk of becoming incapacitated.
