Chantal Durand trained as a lawyer, but also holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Université Laval. Over the years she has built up her practice in commercial and corporate law, specifically in the areas of corporate mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and succession planning, as well as securities and bank and venture capital financing.

She has worked on a range of cases involving publicly listed companies on Canadian stock exchanges.
