Québec City native Assa Diop-Mena completed a certificate in psychology at Université de Sherbrooke and an LL.B. at Université Laval. She joined Cain Lamarre in 2016 as an articling clerk and now practices as a lawyer.

She practices primarily in labor and employment law as well as occupational health and safety. Her experience as a researcher at the Administrative Labor Tribunal (formerly the Labor Relations Board) allows her to bring a fresh, broader perspective to her cases.

She handles occupational health and safety cases, assists in preparing major cases, and advises employers on appropriate disciplinary measures for employees’ failure to perform.
