Marie-Philippe Nadeau
Notary
Expertise: personal and family law | real estate law | notary services
Marie-Philippe Nadeau was born in Rivière-du-Loup. She became a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec (CNQ) in March 2015 and has practiced notary law in Rivière-du-Loup ever since, joining the Cain Lamarre team in February 2020.
Professional and accessible, she accompanies her clients in areas such areas as real estate law, family law, and human rights, all with her vibrant personality. Known for her ability to explain and communicate complex matters clearly, she is regularly invited to speak at regional events.

Rachel Gauthier

Expertise: labor and employment law
Rachelle Gauthier has been active in the field of labor law in a number of capacities since 2001. She began her career in private practice where she developed an interest in alternative dispute‑resolution mechanisms, which led to positions with union organizations working on labor relations at various levels. Joining Cain Lamarre in 2020 as part of the labor and employment law team marks her return to private practice.

Vanessa Thibeault

Expertise: litigation | real estate law
Originally from the Estrie region, Vanessa Thibeault was called to the Quebec Bar in 2015. She joined the Cain Lamarre team in 2020 after practicing several years in the Outaouais region where she quickly gained considerable experience in the common law court system. Her focus has been on construction law from the outset and she is now practicing within our civil litigation and construction law teams. In addition to representing and advising her clients on the performance of contractual obligations, construction defects, and on the protection of claims, she gives courses offered by construction associations to future contractors.

Dominique Delisle

Expertise: administrative law | environmental law | municipal law
Originally from Quebec, Dominique Delisle completed her studies at the Université de Laval and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2015. Drawing on the experience gained in private practice and in an organization representing Quebec municipalities, she quickly developed an expertise in municipal an environmental law.
Having practiced almost exclusively in these areas in her career, in 2020 she joined Cain Lamarre’s environmental and municipal law team in Saguenay.

Catherine Dion
Lawyer
Expertise: business law
Catherine Dion practices business law, more specifically in trade and transactional law. Called to the Bar in 2019, she joined Cain Lamarre the same year. Her practice includes the negotiation and drafting of contractual agreements in a variety of industries, mergers and acquisitions, and financing and venture capital.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Catherine earned her Bachelor of law degree at the Université de Montréal and a Master of law degree at the University of Toronto where she specialized in business law. In addition, she attended a summer school at the University of Costa Rica and participated in a student exchange program at the University College Cork in Ireland.

Félix Aubé-Cornut

Expertise: business law
Originally from Quebec, Félix Aubé-Cornut is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Université de Laval. He completed part of his studies in Argentina at the Universidad Blas Pascal and in Spain at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas of Madrid.
He joined Cain Lamarre after completing his articling and was called to the Bar in 2020. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, company start-ups, financing and more generally, in the elaboration of corporate documents and commercial contracts of all kind.
Committed to getting involved in his community and concerned by environmental issues, he sits on the Environment Committee of the Jeune Barreau de Québec and is in the process of earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA), with social and environmental responsibility of organizations major.
