Mr. Trudel has been a litigator since he was called to the bar in 1982. He has represented clients before all courts in Quebec, mainly in the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, in addition to several other administrative tribunals and quasi-judicial provincial and even federal, as well as before the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Trudel has extensive expertise and experience as a litigator and legal advisor on construction and commercial bonds, to which he devotes a significant portion of his practice. His practice also covers many aspects of civil and commercial law, including insurance, construction, contractual and extra-contractual liability. He is also called upon to intervene in matters of competition in labor law and class action. His exclusive litigation practice has led him to being involved in all types of judicial, prosecution and defense proceedings, including extraordinary remedies, injunctions and declaratory judgments. He was involved with the Quebec Bar during the study of the new Code of Civil Procedure and has extensive experience in civil procedure before the courts.
